We are so thrilled to have some of our favourite pieces featured in the latest editorial for MSG & ME, shot by the talented Camille Brunet! The website, created and curated by Montreal based artist and creative force Camille Brunet, and up and coming photographer, Maya Fuhr, exhibits stylized images shot in Chinatowns around the globe. The girls conceptualized the idea of using MSG as a metaphor for the addictive and enhancing nature of fashion, and connecting this to the locational theme. In the increasingly gentrifying and densifying urban landscape of major cities, perhaps Chinatowns are one of the last authentic spaces for playful escape and release…and hasn’t escapism always been at the core of what we love most about fashion and art as well?
